High Street Centre

I was wondering when I looked up at High Street Centre the other day. Its façade has changed totally. The upgrading of its exterior has transformed this legendary Singapore's icon into yet another beauty.

Definitely changes a lot. It is so modern now. When it first started 20 years ago, I was a teenager and it was very impressive back then and the whole street was like Orchard Road filled with lots of people. I remember visiting Metro in High Street and it was really something grand back then, even though Metro was operating in a two storey shophouse.

For those who do not know this place, it is located next to Singapore river, in between the Parliament House and MITA building. Alternatively, you can get a glimpse of it on Google Maps.
